Go Back to Your Roots

Meet Jason

Jason Livingston is a Kinesiologist, educator, and owner of Grassroots Nutrition System, a comprehensive nutrition program that provides lasting and meaningful change to individuals and families. He is immensely proud to partner with Pediatric Medical Center, Long Beach’s premier pediatric office, as a family consultant. Jason has lectured for several companies about the importance of science-based nutrition and other lifestyle related topics, such as the importance of sleep, mindfulness as a tool for change, and social media dieting. In addition, he maintains a position as a lead trainer for a private training studio and specializes in musculoskeletal health as we age.

Jason has worked tirelessly in an effort to crack the code of obesity and disease. His efforts have guided him into aspects of health that are not traditionally considered yet are integral to successful and lasting dietary change: topics such as habit formation, craving management, and hormonal dysregulation are just a few of these examples.

As a husband and father of three wonderful children, he understands the importance of striking a balance between nutrient-rich food and fun foods. Jason has accomplished this balancing act for his own family and endeavors to help others do the same.

“THE TERM “GRASSROOTS” REFERS TO A GROUND-UP, COMMUNITY-BASED APPROACH TO NUTRITIONAL REFORMATION. CONSIDER US YOUR TRUSTED SOURCE OF RELIABLE, SCIENCE-DRIVEN KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE.”

- Jason Livingston
